Davido Allegedly Calls Diamond Platnumz A 'Bastard'
Starting 2015 on a very aggressive note, HKN act, Davido went on Twitter to lash out at someone that may have really pissed him off.
Not mentioning any names, Davido went hard on the person, calling him/her all sort of harsh names such as “Bastard’’, ‘’Broke Fool’’ among many others.
Davido took to his Twitter handle to drop some really harsh comments, he tweeted:
Ur downfall is coming u bastard ungrateful broke fool!!

Niggas forget who helped them ….. So quick …. God don bless me I do my thing dey go keep my name out ur mouth !! WHO U DON HELP IDIOT!

But the question on the lips of everyone is, who could he be lambasting?
The speculations making waves has it that the BET 2014 Best African Act could be referring to Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz.
The beef started late last year when Davido had taken a shot at Channel O Music Awards and Big Brother Africa over what he perceived to be a bias against Nigeria in the award giving, and decided to say something about it.
In a slick way he just said“N they cheat again”when Idris from Tanzania was announced as the BBA winner over Tayo on Sunday at the BBA finale (more here). Davido had also lost out on all 5 of his nominations at the Channel O Music Awards a few weeks ago.
Here is what Diamond Platnumz had to say on twitter and Instagram weeks after Davido's comment. Any way you look at it, it’s definitely a swipe at Davido.
Here's what he said;“Instead of artists being role models and agents of unity, bringing our countries together to build a strong, prosperous peaceful continent, Africa. We are the first to instigate hate and regionalism. In this manner are we really building Africa? What is our fate? Continuing divide and rule inherited from the colonial era… Anyway, Happy Independence day Tanzania….. ( Badala ya wasanii kuwa ndio Mfano bora wa kuweka karibu Nchi zao na kujenga Africa yenye upendo na Amani…eti wao ndio Wanakua chanzo cha Kutenganisha nchi zao…Namna hii kweli tutajenga Africa? Anyway, Happy Independence day Tanzania….)”
