Fashola Blasts Jonathan, says he is not a failure as the president is.

Lagos State governor Babatunde Fashola criticized President Goodluck Jonathan over the statement that his generation had failed the nation. The governor rebuked the country leader while speaking January 13 in Ikeja, Vanguard reports. It would be recalled that Jonathan made a statement last Thursday as he addressed youth at the launch of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign at the Tafawa Balewa Square . The politician said: “I believe that young Nigerians, not people who are spent and finished. Not people of my age, we are gone… that is why I said I am addressing people from the ages 18-23 those who are voting for the first time, we believe that you people will take us to the moon. Just as many are counting down to the general elections (35 days left), news coming in has revealed that three of Nigeria’s top entertainers will be missing in action on February 14, the date assigned for Nigeria’s presidential elections. The three Nigerian celebrities are Olamide, Wizkid and Basketmouth. They will not be voting for either PDP or APC. Reason why they will not be voting has nothing to do with any political leanings or belief. ePresident Goodluck Jonathan once again took a swipe at the All Progressives Congress candidate, APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, saying he cannot remember his own mobile phone number. Speaking on Friday during his rally in Enugu, Jonathan wondered how Buhari planned to revive the economy which he could not achieve while he was in office as head of state between 1983 and 1985. According to report, Jonathan accused Buhari of deceiving Nigerians with his promise to revive the economy. “Is it now that Buhari cannot even remember his own phone number that he can change the economy of the country?” Jonathan asked. 2015 Elections: OBJ Will Work For PDP Victory - Mu'azu

The National Chairman of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has said former President Olusegun Obasanjo will work with for the victory of the party in 2015 elections. According to Mu’azu, inspite of Obasanjo’s attack on President Goodluck Jonathan, he will work diligently for the party to win. APC Criticizes Goodluck Jonathan Over Recent Remarks

The All Progressives Congress (APC) reacted sharply to President’s Goodluck Jonathan’s yesterday’s remarks made during the Christmas service in Abuja. It would be recalled that Jonathan expressed discontent that some politicians “make provocative statements, statements that create division among Nigerians and that can set this country ablaze”.
